Leisure activities

The leisure centres Brekkusel and Grundasel are operated for children in grades 1 and 2 in Brekkubæjarskóli and Grundaskóli. Organised leisure activities are offered there and parents/guardians have the opportunity to enrol their children to take part after the school day has ended. The centres are open until 16:15 on all weekdays.

The leisure centre Krakkadalur is for children in grades 3 – 4, located in the leisure complex Þorpið on Þjóðbraut. The centre is for the joint use of students from Brekkubæjarskóli and Grundaskóli, with opening hours from the end of the school day until 16:15.
